Lime Plastering & Rendering Lime plastering is very different to modern gypsum plastering and requires a unique traditional skill set both in application and scheduling of the works.   Lime plaster is predominantly used on period properties, often reinforced with animal hair and most commonly worked onto hand riven lathe. Owlsworth IJP has the largest dedicated lime and traditional plastering team in the south of England.   Our team work exclusively on period properties for both private homeowners and on many internationally historic structures providing decorative and plain plastering to the highest possible standards. Having teams dedicated solely to traditional plastering and rendering techniques mean we are highly cost effective for all aspects from simple lime plaster repairs to wholesale decorative plaster placement. Importantly for work on period properties we have a fully equipped plasters workshop enabling us to produce specialist mixes to replicate existing systems. This is supported by a mechanised manufacturing facility to allow us to reproduce consistently and accurately any lime plaster or render scheme.
